The Chicago Bulls are all in. That was made clear in the NBA offseason when they were as aggressive as ever in acquiring some new pieces for the season.

It has worked as the Bulls are currently second in the Eastern Conference, even after a recent slide. As the NBA trade deadline approaches, fans wait to see if they will have yet another new piece to rely on.

Just two weeks ago, Chicago was comfortably at the top of the conference but have suffered some injuries to key players. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso have missed time recently. This has led to the Bulls dropping six of their last eight games but they have slid just one spot in the East.

There is a bit of a logjam at the top but it is clear that the Bulls are going to be there at the end. It helps having two of the top scorers in the league. DeMar DeRozan is currently sixth in the league averaging 26.5 points per game while Zach LaVine is adding 24.7 per game.

The Detroit Pistons have been shopping Jerami Grant and he has been linked to the Bulls in recent weeks. It is no surprise that the Pistons are trying to move Grant.

They are focused on the progression of young prospects like Cade Cunningham and Killian Hayes. Grant is a win-now player who would contribute to any team he is on. He has built incredible value during his time in Detroit and the Pistons can take advantage.

If this deal gets done, there are benefits for both sides. Let’s first take a closer look and what a potential trade between the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons would look like.
