Head coach Erik Spoelstra is one of the best head coaches in the entire league and with a team that currently ranks inside the Top-8 in both offensive and defensive rating, Miami has solidified themselves as the team to beat in the Eastern Conference this season.

Cap space is tight for this team, but the Heat do have a means of trading for another impactful role player, specifically Marcus Morris Sr. from the LA Clippers.
With Paul George and Kawhi Leonard both out due to injuries, the Clippers’ chances of being a playoff threat this season are minimal, hence why they could look to “sell” talent at the trade deadline for future assets. Marcus Morris has been a key contributor for them, but swapping him for a young talent could really help the Clippers long-term.
