The New York Knicks have been extremely disappointing this NBA season. Nothing is going to plan, Julius Randle is underperforming, and their offseason acquisitions haven’t panned out the way they might have liked. It’s just rough.
Randle’s play has become so ugly that he’s put up single-digit points in multiple games in recent weeks. His poor shot selection and inability to play up to his contract extension have cost the Knicks some much-needed wins.
It has gotten to the point where the Knicks have made almost everyone on the roster available as they attempt to play their young guys. Names such as Evan Fournier, Kemba Walker, and Alec Burks have all been brought up in rumors.
That being said, New York could still look to add valuable assets at the deadline. They are still in the hunt for a great point guard, and pairing RJ Barrett with some fresh young talent could be exactly what they need to do in order to plan for the future.
