Ben Simmons – Philadelphia 76ers
All roads for any possible trades lead back to the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons this season. While it seems likely that Simmons and the Sixers will carry their drama into the offseason, the Indiana Pacers have shown interest in the 76ers’ All-Star in the past.
If they truly want to “re-tool” instead of “rebuild”, then the Pacers need to go after the best of the best in a trade for Caris LeVert and Ben Simmons is certainly that.
At just 25-years-old, Simmons is definitely a liability and you do not really know what to expect at this point since he has not played since the summer, but he is a three-time All-Star and a two-time All-Defensive player.
Practically being a 7-foot point guard, Ben Simmons can facilitate and take a lot of pressure off of Sabonis and Brogdon in Indiana to have to make all the plays for others. Not to mention, he could turn himself into a pick-and-roll finisher beside Domantas Sabonis.

It is truly hard to imagine the 76ers trading Ben Simmons right now given the value they have put on him, but if Philadelphia truly wants to bolster their chances of winning a title, they need to trade him away.
Caris LeVert could contribute right away in Philly next to Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid, giving them the little extra bit of firepower they need on offense.
