The situation in Sacramento has not been a good one for the better part of a decade — or maybe more. The Kings are currently in the midst of the longest playoff drought in the NBA at 15 years. There is no end in sight as Sacramento moves towards what will be another rebuild.
The Kings have seen many trade rumors come about in recent years. They have veteran players and expiring contracts that are not going to fit for the future. This does not include Marvin Bagley III, who is a former No. 2 pick who could use a change of scenery.
The situation surrounding Bagley and the Kings is not a good one. He was taken out of the rotation at the beginning of the season and has not been a major contributor this season.
Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes are other options to be moved. They have been discussed for a long time now but nothing has happened.

There seems to be a team that has blown it up at the deadline each year and it could be the Sacramento Kings this year. If they want to make a splash, De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton could be moved. This would allow them to get the largest return in a deal.
The Sacramento Kings have plenty of options and the time is coming quick. They need to begin to explore some options and these three names could be major trade targets for Sacramento.
