3 Trade Targets For Houston Rockets To Keep Tabs On

Houston Rockets, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

As we enter the new year, it is no surprise to see the Houston Rockets at the bottom of the Western Conference. This was the position that was expected as the team continues to go through a transition period. Houston sent away their big names last season but could also have some more moves in mind as we approach the NBA trade deadline.

The Rockets are currently 14-33 and dead last in the conference. To this point of the season, it seems as though Jalen Green is the only untouchable player in a deal.

The second-overall pick in the draft has played in 32 games this season and is scoring 14.4 points per game. Green has shown potential of becoming a star in the coming years. As for the rest of the team, there are veterans who could be on the move as the Rockets look to get younger.

This begins with Christian Wood, who has incredible value. He is averaging 17.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in 44 games this season. Wood has turned into an all-around star and would benefit the Rockets better in a trade.

Eric Gordon is also still around after Houston cleaned house. Then there is the drama surrounding John Wall. The point guard has not played a game for the Rockets this season and has no intention of returning until a trade is made.

There should be plenty of motivation for the Houston Rockets to make a deal moving forward. If they decide to pull the trigger, these three targets could be near the top of the list.
