There are not enough words to describe how great of a job Taylor Jenkins has done as head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies this season and a lot of the credit also deserves to go to 34-year-old general manager Zach Kleiman as well.
Memphis has such a well-put-together roster of youthful, high-potential talents and they are all starting to come into their own in this league at the same time.
Ja Morant has quickly built himself into an All-Star-caliber talent this season and with other high-level, youthful talents in Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Dillon Brooks around him, the Grizzlies have 13 of their last 15 games and are now the 3-seed in the Western Conference at 32-16 on the season.
The most impressive thing about the Grizzlies this season though is not the talent on their roster, nor how well they shoot the ball, it is the fact that they have sustained success with and without their best players on the floor.

Dillon Brooks, Ja Morant, Kyle Anderson, Steven Adams, and many others have missed extended periods of time this season due to injuries and health protocols, yet the Memphis Grizzlies have still found ways to win games.
They are the only team in the NBA to have beaten the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors on the road this season and while they only have four players averaging double-digit scoring numbers on the year, they currently sit 9th in the league in offensive rating.
Having just 3 players on their roster with at least six years of NBA playing experience, many would think the Grizzlies are still a growing and learning team in this league, which they still kind of are, but all of these guys who are 24-years-old or younger look like they have been in the league playing together for years.
The maturity and the comradery this team has with one another truly is impressive, which has directly led to their success, regardless of who is playing on any given night.

The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the best teams in the NBA this season and while they could become a slightly better three-point shooting team, there are no moves they desperately need to make ahead of the deadline. It would not be surprising to see this team go deep into the playoffs this year.
