Memphis Grizzlies Receive: F Pascal Siakam, F/C Chris Boucher
Toronto Raptors Receive: G/F Dillon Brooks, C Steven Adams, G/F Ziaire Williams, G/F Jarrett Culver, MEM 2022 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected), GSW 2024 1st Round Pick (Top-4 Protected, via MEM)
For the Toronto Raptors to even think about trading Pascal Siakam at the NBA trade deadline this season, they will need to be getting a handful of future value, something the Grizzlies most certainly have. Desmond Bane would likely be a key talking point in trade talks, but so would Dillon Brooks, who Toronto would be adding in this deal.
Now in his 5th NBA season, Dillon Brooks has turned himself into one of the better two-way wings in the league and about to be just 26-years-old, Brooks is only going to continue growing.
While he has only played in 21 games this season because of injuries and health protocols, Dillon Brooks has averaged a career-best 18.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and has shot 42.6% from the floor.
Toronto does have OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. as two reliable wings, as well as a versatile forward in Scottie Barnes, but Dillon Brooks brings a lot of value to this team, especially because he is a really strong defensive player on the perimeter.

As for Steven Adams, he would fill a void the Raptors have at the center position and both Ziaire Williams and Jarrett Culver are two young building blocks they can add for depth. Williams has shown flashes of his full potential in his rookie season this year and Culver is a former Top-10 that has yet to find his footing in this league due to the lack of opportunities he has seen.
As for the Grizzlies, they have been one of the breakout teams of the 2021-22 season and find themselves as the 3-seed in the Western Conference at 31-16 on the season.
The Western Conference is top-heavy with the Suns and Warriors as two championship threats, but the Grizzlies really are not far off from competing with them. In fact, Memphis is the only team in the NBA this season to have wins on the road in both Phoenix and San Francisco!
This young Grizzlies team is a real threat this season and while Ja Morant will likely be a first-time All-Star, he needs a little bit more help to turn this team into a true championship threat. Pascal Siakam with Jaren Jackson Jr. in the frontcourt creates a very dynamic and versatile two-way duo, as well as gives the Grizzlies that extra bit of production they are missing.

Memphis is likely to explore the trade market as “buyers” at the trade deadline and going “all-in” on Siakam certainly has its benefits.
