The Indiana Pacers need a change. They need a change more than any other team in the NBA. Some could throw the Portland Trail Blazers or the Los Angeles Lakers into that mix, but the Pacers still reign supreme among teams overdue for a shake-up.

Indiana has, for some reason, been fine with being mediocre for the past seven years.

Ever since Paul George left after helping the Pacers to multiple Eastern Conference Finals appearances, they have made the playoffs in five out of seven years. They were eliminated in the first round every single time.

Getting bounced from the playoffs in Round 1 for a bunch of years in a row isn’t great, but it’s certainly better than missing the postseason for a league-high 15 straight years.
