Does this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?

Given all of the future assets they have on their roster, the Washington Wizards can absolutely make a trade for Jerami Grant work and he is someone that they absolutely need.

Bradley Beal can not carry this franchise on his own and needing a key No. 2 scorer next to him, Jerami Grant could remain in the same role that he is currently in with the Detroit Pistons as a versatile, two-way scorer at either the small-forward or power-forward positions.

Giving up key, young talents like Avdija, Kispert, Hachimura and/or Bryant could wind up hurting the Wizards given that they themselves are not a “finished product” in the Eastern Conference, but they must make a move if they are to try and find playoff success.

Washington has not won a playoff series since 2017 and it is hard to imagine that they will be able to do so this season given the way their roster is constructed, assuming they earn a playoff spot via the play-in tournament at this rate!
