Latest NBA Trade Rumors Surrounding Rockets: Gordon, Wood, More

Houston Rockets, Eric Gordon, Christian Wood, NBA Trade Rumors

The Houston Rockets traded James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets last season, thus starting an inevitable rebuild process. This NBA season, the Rockets currently find themselves contending for something, but it is for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft seeing as they are 13-32, the worst record in the Western Conference.

However, there is a lot to like about this young group if you are a Rockets’ fan. Maybe you do not like the outbursts and fights that occurred in the locker room recently, but the future looks bright with talents such as Jalen Green, Jae’Sean Tate and Kevin Porter Jr.

In time, Houston is going to once again be a force in the Western Conference, but this roster could wind up looking a lot different than it does now in the coming weeks.

The Rockets are expected to be busy at the trade deadline in about three weeks as they continue to search for ways to build for the future.

D.J. Augustin is a key veteran that could be moved given the Rockets’ interest in moving on from his salary, but Eric Gordon, Christian Wood and John Wall are also key names to keep watch on.
