The Houston Rockets traded James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets last season, thus starting an inevitable rebuild process. This NBA season, the Rockets currently find themselves contending for something, but it is for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft seeing as they are 13-32, the worst record in the Western Conference.
However, there is a lot to like about this young group if you are a Rockets’ fan. Maybe you do not like the outbursts and fights that occurred in the locker room recently, but the future looks bright with talents such as Jalen Green, Jae’Sean Tate and Kevin Porter Jr.

The Rockets are expected to be busy at the trade deadline in about three weeks as they continue to search for ways to build for the future.Â
