Jerami Grant – Detroit Pistons
The one and only name Bulls’ fans should have on their radar right now is Jerami Grant.
The Pistons are open to trade talks surrounding Grant and while he is currently recovering from a ligament injury in his right thumb, the Pistons’ forward is one of the best two-way players on the market right now.
After signing a three-year, $60M deal with the Pistons ahead of last season, the combo-forward exploded onto the scene as being a standalone star. In 78 total games with Detroit, Jerami Grant has averaged 21.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and has shot 42.5% from the floor.
Before joining the Pistons, Grant was regarded as a high-value two-way talent on the wing with the Thunder and Nuggets, but was never really given a chance to shine on his own.

It is hard to imagine that he would continue being a 20-plus point per game type of talent in Chicago with three other All-Stars alongside him, but Jerami Grant would be a terrific complimentary talent for Chicago to add on the wing with Patrick Williams being out indefinitely.
They would not be tied down to Grant long-term, as he will be entering the final year of his contract next season, and adding a fourth “star-like” player would give the Bulls everything they need to go “all-in” on winning a championship this season.
The only problem with pursuing Grant though is that the Bulls would be one of many teams calling Detroit ahead of the trade deadline about him. From other championship contenders to playoff hopefuls, Jerami Grant is one of the hottest commodities on the trade market right now, meaning that Coby White may not be enough to get a deal done.
Should the Bulls offer White, Patrick Williams and a draft pick, the Detroit Pistons should be more than willing to talk about a possible Jerami Grant trade, but the Bulls do not feel comfortable at the moment including both of their young talents in trade talks.

Making a move for Jerami Grant would be a “home run” move by the Bulls’ management, but this scenario may be a little too far-fetched to buy into right now.
