The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be as aggressive as they can be leading up to the NBA trade deadline. They are 21-20 at the midway point of the season, which is well below the expectations they carried into the regular season.
Los Angeles looked at themselves as championship contenders despite what people thought about their offseason moves. It is championship or bust when you have LeBron James on your team, and as things currently stand, they look more like a bust.
21-20 isn’t bad considering the circumstances the Lakers have faced. James has missed 12 games while Anthony Davis has missed 14 and counting. Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony have both appeared in all 41 games this season and are the only players on the roster to not miss at least five games.
