Toronto Raptors Receive: C/F Anthony Davis, F Talen Horton-Tucker
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: F Pascal Siakam, F OG Anunoby, F Yuta Watanabe, F Svi Mykhailiuk
Woah. What a blockbuster this would turn out to be.
The Los Angeles Lakers would send a perennial All-Star and a young prospect to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a one-time All-Star, a 24-year-old, two-way wing, and two potential rotation players.
While Anthony Davis has struggled to shoot the ball well this season, he’s still the same player who’s dominated the league since being drafted. This year, he’s averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while shooting 52.1 percent from the field and 17.9 percent from deep.
As for Talen Horton-Tucker, he’s been struggling to shoot efficiently from the field as well. He’s putting up 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 24.4 percent from range.

Siakam is averaging 20.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from deep since his return to action. Anunoby is putting up 19.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on 43.8-36.9 shooting splits.
As odd as this deal may look for both sides, there’s plenty of reason to engage in talks. Why should each team be interested in a deal like this? What would they both be getting out of this trade?
