Boston Celtics Receive: F/C Domantas Sabonis, F Oshae Brissett, G Kiefer Sykes, C Goga Bitadze
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Grant Williams, F Juancho Hernangomez, F Romeo Langford, G Aaron Nesmith, G Payton Pritchard, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick Swap, 2024 First-Round Pick
One of the scenarios that the Indiana Pacers could go for is clearing as much cap space as possible and bringing back younger players in a true rebuild. If they want to go into more of the teardown route, this would be a package they could consider.
Romeo Langford and Grant Williams were first-round picks in 2019. Aaron Nesmith and Payton Pritchard were first-rounders in 2020. All could begin realizing their potential with expanded roles on a Pacers team with an eye toward the future.
Juancho Hernangomez is included to help match salary, as all fur other players involved are still on rookie-scale contracts. Without any impact players heading to Indiana, the Pacers land a boatload of draft picks.
The 2022 and 2024 picks are without protections, while the 2023 pick is a draft swap because the Boston Celtics cannot go consecutive years without a pick, courtesy of the Stepien Rule.

Heading to Boston is Domantas Sabonis, as the Boston Celtics now have an impressive Big 3. Sabonis’ playmaking should help get Boston’s offense on track easier, as the ball sometimes sticks in isolation plays.
To help match roster numbers, they are getting Oshae Brisset, Goga Bitadze, and Kiefer Sykes to fill in some of the roster holes. Brissett could step into the role vacated by Williams in the frontcourt.
