Golden State Warriors Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: C James Wiseman, G Moses Moody, G Juan Toscano-Anderson, 2022 First-Round Pick
The Indiana Pacers don’t want to embark on a rebuild as Sam Hinkie did with the Philadelphia 76ers or the Oklahoma City Thunder are in the midst of with Sam Presti. However, they have shown they are willing to trade some bigger named players for young guys with upside.
When the Pacers traded Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder, they didn’t get back any draft compensation. They received Domantas Sabonis and Victor Oladipo. This scenario with the Golden State Warriors is a similar kind of deal.
They would trade veteran Myles Turner to the Golden State Warriors and get back two excellent prospects in James Wiseman and Moses Moody. Wiseman was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, while Moody was selected No. 14 overall.
Indiana could push for Jonathan Kuminga, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, as well. Landing two of the three would likely be Indiana’s goal. If they can get Kuminga with Wiseman, the Warriors could take the 2022 first-round pick off the table.

Juan Toscano-Anderson is included for salary purposes. This deal is about $1.7 million short of being legal with just Wiseman and Moody, so another player has to be a part of the deal to work financially.
Golden State doesn’t want to include their young players, but that could change if they do not look ready to help the team win a title. Wiseman has immense potential, but if the Warriors can flip him for a player in Turner that will help them win this year, they will seriously consider it.
