The 2021-22 NBA season seems like it started just the other day, but here we are almost 50% done with the regular season! Time flies when you are having fun and while health protocols tightening across the league definitely is not a fun scenario, we have witnessed plenty of great basketball being played thus far.
The Suns, Warriors and Jazz remain the “three-headed monster” in the Western Conference, but in the Eastern Conference, there are at least six teams with real chances to make a deep playoff run.
Injuries will once again play a huge role in how the NBA season unfolds, but so will moves that are made within the next two months. The NBA Trade Deadline is on February 10 at 3 p.m. EST and over the course of the next 800 hours or so, all 30 teams in the league will be on the phone trying to make moves.
For some, these moves will be to set up their future, similar to what the Magic did last season by trading away Vucevic, Fournier and Gordon, but for others, these moves will be to try and win them a championship.
