3 Trade Targets For Milwaukee Bucks To Pursue At Deadline

The Milwaukee Bucks have been hit hard by injuries and players entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols this season. As a result, they haven’t had their projected rotation together virtually all season.

Brook Lopez, the team’s starting center, played on opening night and we haven’t seen him on the court since. He was originally diagnosed with back soreness but underwent a procedure to alleviate the problem.

The Bucks don’t have a single-player that has appeared in all 40 contests this season and almost their entire rotation has missed multiple games at some point. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis have missed nine games already this season. Jrue Holiday and George Hill have missed seven and Khris Middleton has missed 12.

14 different players have started at least one game thus far this season and that number could continue rising, especially if another spike in positive COVID-19 tests occurs. Despite all of the lineup shuffling, Milwaukee has more than held its own.

The Bucks are 25-15 on the season, holding down the third seed in the Eastern Conference. They could look to make some changes to the roster for the stretch run, as they have some pieces in Donte DiVincenzo and Jordan Nwora that could be used to build a package around.

Who could Milwaukee target in a trade? Here are three players that they should pursue to upgrade their roster.
