These 3 Teams Should Pursue Trade For Blazers’ Robert Covington

Robert Covington, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Portland Trail Blazers sound like they are finally ready to make some changes to their roster. This has been a long time coming, as it has been a few NBA seasons that they were identified as a team that could use a roster shake-up.

From the sounds of it, anyone outside of Damian Lillard could be made available in a trade. They are still hopeful, no matter how slim of chances they have, of building a contender around their superstar point guard.

Eventually, it could be Lillard who is on the trade block once the Trail Blazers accept the harsh reality that they need to rebuild. For now, that time is not now, as they will look to scrap together a strong enough performance to at least sneak into the NBA Play-In Tournament in the Western Conference.

Right now, Portland is 14-23, one game out of the play-in tournament. One player who they have made available to be traded for is Robert Covington. Covington is on an expiring deal, which will make him attractive to virtually any team in the NBA.
