Miami Heat, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Miami Heat were very aggressive during the NBA offseason in upgrading the roster. Their headlining acquisition was Kyle Lowry, as they landed him from the Toronto Raptors in a sign-and-trade deal during free agency.

They were ultimately docked a second-round pick for tampering, but landing a player such as Lowry, is well worth the fine. Lowry has helped turn the Heat into contenders again in the Eastern Conference.

Miami is currently 24-15 and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. In addition to Lowry, the acquisition of P.J. Tucker has been a big one and the team is getting excellent contributions from elsewhere on the roster.

Tyler Herro has taken a big leap in his third season. Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are both playing at All-Star levels. Omer Yurtseven, Max Strus and Gabe Vincent have been excellent when called upon.
