The Indiana Pacers have been trending downwards ever since they traded Paul George to the OKC Thunder in 2017. Currently 14-21 this NBA season, the Pacers’ struggles continue and they do not appear to be a playoff threat anymore.

Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert, Myles Turner and T.J. Warren makes up a strong looking core, but these five players have never all played together due to injuries. Plus, with injuries to T.J. McConnell and others on this roster, it is time for Indiana to take a step back.

Recently, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Pacers are moving towards a rebuild and they are willing to listen to trade offers on not only Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis, but Caris LeVert as well.

Now in his second season with the Indiana Pacers, LeVert joined the team when he was traded there last season as an extension of the James Harden to Brooklyn deal. Since joining the Pacers, Caris LeVert has averaged 19.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and has shot 43.7% from the floor.

LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: These 3 Should Pursue Trade For Pacers’ Caris LeVert

Being a real offensive threat that can get to the rim, LeVert is a very intriguing trade asset on the trade block this season and he is a player that could definitely help a lot of playoff hopeful teams across the league. One of those teams that he could have an immediate impact on is the New York Knicks.

Just 6-8 since the start of December and now 17-18 overall, the Knicks have really struggled to find any sense of stability and consistency on either end of the floor this season.

Health protocols have forced their rotations to change immensely over the weeks, but they barely survived beating the Detroit Pistons the other night without Derrick Rose and Evan Fournier.

This team has a lot of holes to try and patch up at the trade deadline this season, but they must try to address their situation on offense because Julius Randle has not looked like the All-Star he was a season ago and trying to find consistent production from this roster is like rolling the dice at a craps table!

The New York Knicks need another reliable scorer that can create opportunities for himself, which is why Caris LeVert could be an underrated trade target for them heading into the deadline. With this in mind, let’s take a look at how the Knicks could possibly get a deal done for LeVert this season.
