Eric Gordon – Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets are rebuilding and looking to cut ties with some of their veteran talents. John Wall and D.J. Augustin are both players and contracts the Rockets would like to trade this season, but Eric Gordon is likely their best trade asset that they are actively looking to move.
Now 33-years-old, Gordon is on the back-half of his career, but he is still a contributing factor in Houston this season and has been one of their more steady producers on the offensive end of the floor.
In 29 games this season, Eric Gordon has averaged 14.6 points, 3.4 assists and has shot 48.9% from the floor, 44.4% from three-point range. No matter what organization he has been a part of or what his role has been, Gordon has always been a reliable factor for his team.
His contract is definitely not too favorable, as he is set to make $58.7M through the 2023-24 season, but the final year of his contract is non-guaranteed. Should a team trade for him, they could technically waive Gordon with no strings attached following next season.

Building off the idea of adding another offensive-minded player who could help in terms of three-point shooting, Eric Gordon is definitely someone the Grizzlies could consider for more depth on the perimeter.
Being able to play either shooting guard or small-forward, Eric Gordon is a versatile veteran and he is still a factor on defense as well. He may not be a high-level talent or someone that can take this team to the next level, but you know what you are getting with Gordon.
What Houston would want for the veteran remains a question mark, but the same package described earlier for Buddy Hield could be applied here.

A draft pick or two and someone like Tyus Jones or Jarrett Culver could be enough to get a deal done for Eric Gordon.
The Grizzlies could definitely look to upgrade their bench talent and with Eric Gordon averaging double-figure scoring on the season, he is yet another contributing piece they could add to the puzzle.
