The Charlotte Hornets gave Gordon Hayward a massive four-year deal during the 2020 offseason worth $120 million. The money was huge and this is what it took for Hayward to leave the Boston Celtics. Now, he could be moved once again if the Hornets want to shake things up.

Hayward averaged 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in his first season in Charlotte. He struggled to stay on the floor and played just 44 games.

This season, he has been healthy and is making an impact. Gordon Hayward is averaging 17.1 points and shooting 39.2% from three-point range. There is some new value around Hayward this season and Charlotte could take advantage.

Injury concerns remain a factor around Hayward but he fits in well with the Hornets. He mans the small forward position for a team with a strong backcourt.
