Indiana Pacers

At 14-20 in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers find themselves in a very similar situation to that of the Portland Trail Blazers out West. Indiana has underachieved given the talent on their roster through the years, but a lot of the blame can also be put on injuries.

Indiana can never seem to have everyone healthy for a season, which is part of the reason the Pacers have struggled to remain relevant in the East.

The other part of this is because their front-office has not shown the willingness to go out and spend a lot of money to make this team better.

Recently, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Indiana Pacers are heading towards a rebuild process and will be receptive to trade offers not only for Caris LeVert and Myles Turner, but All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis as well.

Who knows if any of these three players will be on the move, but the Pacers should definitely be open to moving Turner and LeVert. Both guys are nothing more than secondary talents in this system next to Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis and they are both under contract for one more season.

Trading LeVert and/or Turner while their value is high could allow the Indiana Pacers to add more future value to their roster or better yet, someone like Ben Simmons.

The 76ers have been looking to trade their 3x All-Star for months now and the Pacers are a team that keeps popping up in trade rumors for him.

Getting this deal done not only gives the Indiana Pacers another All-Star talent to build with, but someone they can rely on to be their anchor on defense either with or without Myles Turner.

Indiana does not have many young talents that they can rely on and with the futures of T.J. Warren, Myles Turner and Caris LeVert in question, now is the time for them to rebuild, especially since they have two stars in Brogdon and Sabonis that they can continue playing through.
