The Boston Celtics have been one of the most confusing teams to figure out this NBA season. The only thing they have done consistently is perform inconsistently. You do not know which Celtics team you are going to get on any given night.

One night the Celtics look like world-beaters, the kind of team that can compete for an Eastern Conference title. It was just a year and a half ago they were in that position against the Miami Heat in the Orlando Bubble.

Thinking they turned the corner, Boston would then lay an egg in their next outing, having their doors blown off embarrassingly. It has been a challenge for rookie head coach Ime Udoka to work through as the team’s effort level is not there as often as it needs to be.

With two young All-Stars in place in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, the Celtics, for now, are looking to upgrade the roster around them, not trade one of them away to restock and shuffle things up too drastically.

One player that they and plenty of other teams will have their eyes on will be Terrence Ross of the Orlando Magic. How could the Boston Celtics acquire the veteran scoring wing? Let’s take a look at this hypothetical deal.
