De’Aaron Fox

There have been expectations for the New York Knicks to this point of the season but they seem to be dying down. It has been a lackluster start for the Knicks after a season where they finished fourth in the East. A lear hole in the lineup is at the top of the offense.

The Knicks signed Kemba Walker in the offseason but he was quickly removed from the lineup. With players out due to health and safety concerns, Walker might have to be reinserted on a nightly basis but this is not a long-term marriage. De’Aaron Fox is the type of point guard that would fit well with the current core in New York.

The Knicks are trying to sell fans on their young players with Julius Randle. He signed an extension in the offseason and is a nice piece. Randle is not the star that can take the Knicks to the next level.

RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin are rotation pieces. Fox could take over at the top of the offense and give the Knicks that next-level point guard that they have been missing.

This is another deal where the fit is perfect but it is unknown what the Knicks would have to give up. Toppin might have to lead the way. The Kings might want Immanuel Quickly to go along with some draft picks. It al depends on what the deal will look like but there is no doubt what Fox would accomplish.
