Would this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?

The Philadelphia 76ers have been patient throughout this entire process. Daryl Morey explained that Philadelphia is not going to move Ben Simmons if they do not get back what they believed to be a fair return.

The asking price began so high that they might have to reconsider at some point. This does not mean that they have to settle.

Philadelphia knows what it wants to accomplish and that it is very close. The Sixers have not been a championship team in recent years but took a huge step last season. They are continuing to improve and that can happen further if they put another impact player in the backcourt.

That is what Rozier can be. He is a veteran guard who can score at all three levels. Rozier has experience playing with other productive players around him and would not demand the ball on a nightly basis.

Philadelphia took a huge step last season when Morey brought in perimeter threats and they can continue by getting another one for Simmons.

The Sixers could use a point guard that knows how to put the ball in the basket. That is what Rozier can do night in a night out for this team. That would help the Sixers down the stretch of the season and come to the playoffs.
