Orlando Magic Receive: G Donte DiVincenzo, F Semi Ojeleye
Milwaukee Bucks Receive: C Mo Bamba
While he is in the final year of his contract and set to become a restricted free agent, the Orlando Magic are not just going to trade Bamba for nothing. He is a player that Orlando could envision keeping next to Wendell Carter Jr. in their frontcourt long-term and if this is the case, they are going to need to receive a handful of future assets in a trade involving Bamba.
Donte DiVincenzo is definitely a solid, young talent for them to add, but Semi Ojeleye’s upside is limited and worst of all, the Magic get no draft compensation from this trade. Milwaukee only has 8 picks through 2028 due to prior trades they have made, but for Orlando to give up Mo Bamba, they will almost definitely need to be receiving at least one first-round pick.
It is possible that Milwaukee could get away with offering two second-round picks instead, but nonetheless, the Magic are going to want draft compensation over anything else for Mo Bamba.
While he is currently on the mend from a foot/ankle injury in the playoffs last season, Donte DiVincenzo is definitely a player that could be intriguing to the Magic.

The former Villanova Wildcat and Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player has been growing into a steady two-way presence in Milwaukee over the years and while he is also in the final year of his rookie deal, DiVincenzo is definitely someone the Orlando Magic would invest in for the future.
To this point in his career, Donte DiVincenzo has averaged 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and has shot 43.2% from the floor, 34.9% from three-point range. He may not be an elite-level three-point shooter or scorer, but he does his job and is a shooting guard that can play 30-plus minutes per game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has seen some time at the “center position” this season with Brook Lopez being out and Bobby Portis has stepped into a much bigger role for the Milwaukee Bucks as well, but they really do need some more talent in their frontcourt.
Milwaukee’s interior defense has taken a slight hit with Lopez being out and Bobby Portis being their only “big man”, which is why adding Mo Bamba could be highly beneficial to this team. He is an avid rim-protector and is only going to get better with time.

Who knows if the Bucks would want to pay Mo Bamba long-term after the season or roll forward with Brook Lopez, but it does not appear that Lopez is going to be back anytime soon. Adding another center could go a long way in them possibly repeating as champions this season.
