Indiana Pacers Receive: F Obi Toppin, C Nerlens Noel, First-Round Pick
New York Knicks Receive: C Myles Turner

This was a trade offer that was proposed by Zach Lowe during an episode of his podcast, the Lowe Post Podcast. It would have some immediate ramifications for both the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks.

For the Knicks, this is one that fans will have strong opinions about. Obi Toppin has come on in his second season in the league and he is someone that people want to see get more playing time.

Tom Thibodeau has used more Julius Randle/Toppin frontcourt pairings, but as long as Randle is entrenched as the starter, it is hard to imagine Toppin being fully unleashed. One player that people would love to see Toppin take minutes away from is Nerlens Noel, who has not been as impactful in his second season with the Knicks as he was in his first.

Noel is included in this deal to help match salary, as he signed a three-year, $27.7 million deal with the third season being a team option. As a result, he cannot be traded until December 15th.
