History, star power, and conference rivals — all will take place on Tuesday night around the NBA. There are different situations to be looked at as games continue to heat up.

As we creep deeper into December, teams are beginning t sort themselves out. Front offices could be looking for moves to make, whether buying or selling. Either way, there is plenty of action that will take place and that continue on Tuesday night.

When looking at the slate of games, these three stood out. Here are three potential bets to make heading into the night.

Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks

The overall betting aspect of this game will be overshadowed by the fact that history could be made in the World’s Most Famous Arena. Steph Curry is just two three-pointers away from breaking the all-time record held by Ray Allen. Now, he will be able to do it in New York barring extreme circumstances.

Back in 2013, Curry dropped 54 points at the Mecca. This was a legendary performance that will go down in history and he has a chance to make more here. It would not be surprising to see Curry go for 40 or 50 points. This total is set a bit low because the Knicks have had difficulty scoring consistently. The Warriors should be able to handle most of the work since they are back to the top of the league.

The Knicks have been struggling defensively as well this season. They are not the same team from last year and it shows. RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin will remain out for tonight’s game while Quenton Grimes is also in health and safety protocols.

The Knicks will have difficulty scoring with the Warriors but the total is low enough to believe in the over. Golden State has a chance to light up the Garden once again.

Pick: Over 211.5

Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trail Blazers

The Suns continue their road trip as they make the journey to Portland to take on the Blazers. Both teams are dealing with some injuries but continue to move in different directions in the standings to this point of the season.

Phoenix will enter this game at 21-5 and second in the Western Conference. Portland is a loser of five consecutive games and the schedule does not get much easier here.

Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are set to miss tonight’s action but the Suns have been sporting that next-man-up mentality that has worked. Phoenix is coming off a game on Monday night it struggled against the Los Angeles Clippers.

During this five-game losing streak, the Blazers are minus-86 in point differential and have allowed 116.2 points per game. This is a chance for the Suns to get back on track against a struggling team that will continue to play without CJ McCollum.

The Suns enter as a small road favorite in this one. Despite the back-to-back games, Phoenix is a more reliable team than the Blazers at this point. Take the Suns and hope the Blazers can continue to struggle on both ends.

Pick: Suns 2.5

Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets

The Raptors will travel to Barclays Center to take on the Nets, who are beginning a five-game homestand. Both teams are coming off big victories in previous games. While Brooklyn has owned this head-to-head matchup, it could go the other way this time.

It is clear which team is better on paper. Kevin Durant is still one of the best players in the league but Toronto has some options themselves.

Fred VanVleet leads the way and Scottie Barnes is an early-season candidate for Rookie of the Year. The Raptors are expecting to be aggressive at the trade deadline but until then, the current core can continue to compete.

The Nets have had trouble ATS this season. They have been allowing opponents to remain in games. Despite blowing out the Detroit Pistons last time out, the Nets might allow Toronto to hang around a bit. If they can get offensive production from their stars, the Raptors can stay within the number.

Brooklyn might be the attractive pick at home here but the Raptors are getting enough points to take a chance here.

Pick: Raptors +8.5
