A new week in the NBA begins on Monday with many teams taking the floor. Steph Curry will lead the Golden State Warriors into Indiana looking for history while there are some other big-time matchups.

The Phoenix Suns will be back in action in Los Angeles while the Boston Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks.

There is a lot of good basketball to watch tonight with some top teams in the league. When looking at the slate, here are three bets to keep an eye on heading into the night.

Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers

It has been the pursuit of history’s Steph Curry approaches Ray Allen’s career record of 2,973 shots made from three-point range.

Curry is such a good shooter that talks began once he with within about 30 because it could be only a few games until it was broken. Now, Curry needs seven makes to break the record and it could happen on any given night.

This is an entertaining prop to watch for. As good as Curry is, teams are beginning to focus in a bit more defensively as they do not want him to break the record against them. On Monday against the Pacers, a line is set at 6.5 makes for Curry and the under is the play here.

On Saturday night, many wanted to see Curry make 10 three’s against the Philadelphia 76ers and break the record. He was held to just three and shot 6-for-20 from deep.

If Curry does not make it tonight, he will have a matchup with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. This is not to say that Curry will not want to break the record tonight, but he could have his eye on setting the new mark at the Mecca.

Indiana will key in a bit defensively and Steph Curry is getting everyone’s best efforts. If you have a chance to keep someone from breaking a record, you do it.

Pick: Steph Curry under 6.5 3-pointers made

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Clippers

This rematch of the Western Conference Finals will take place at Staples’ Center. The Clippers are looking for their fourth consecutive victory and will have to take on one of the top teams in the league.

The Phoenix Suns will once again be without Devin Booker in this contest while Deandre Ayton is listed as questionable. Paul George is also questionable but cannot afford to miss this contest.

The Suns have been on a tear this season. They put together an 18-game win streak, that was snapped by the Golden State Warriors, and won two games since. This means they have won 20 of their last 21 games. Phoenix is a difficult matchup for any team and that includes Phoenix.

Kawhi Leonard remains out with an injury and the team looks different than last year’s conference finals. The Phoenix Suns have a clear advantage in the backcourt and feature Mikal Bridges defensively, who can make it difficult for George.

Down low, JaVale McGee has played some valuable minutes this season and could fill in if Ayton was forced to miss the game.

It is clear who the better team is right now. The Phoenix Suns are rolling and will look to continue their streak. This is another road dog being taken but the spread is low enough to believe in the Suns.

Pick: Phoenix Suns -1.5

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics

The Milwaukee Bucks seem to be turning it around a bit. They are coming off a dominant win over the New York Knicks on the road and controlled the game from the beginning. As for the Celtics, they seem to be going in the different direction but they do have a head-to-head victory to lean on.

The Celtics defeated the Bucks 122-113 earlier in the season. They allowed 113 points in that game and the defense has gotten worse since then.

Over the previous five games, Boston is allowing 117.8 points. Offensively, there is not much else outside of Jayson Tatum right now. Jaylen Brown is set to make his return to the lineup after missing time with an injury. This will help a bit but he is not a defensive threat.

Boston is running into a healthy Milwaukee Bucks’ team that is beginning to look the champions of last season. Giannis Antetokounmpo should have no problem bullying the Celtics down low in this game. Milwaukee continues to be a two-way team that can thrive on both ends. This does not bode well for the Celtics and how they have been playing recently.

Now the line is a bit surprising. When looking at a game like this, one might be tempted to take the Celtics because it feels like they should be a bigger dog. With that being said, if the line stays at a point, take Milwaukee and do not look back.

Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -1
