After some shaky performances at the beginning of the 2021-22 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets have started finding their footing. The team is now 12-5, tied with the Chicago Bulls for the best record in the Eastern Conference, after winning 10 out of their last 12 games.

Kevin Durant is having an MVP-level season leading the way for Brooklyn. He is averaging 28.5 points per game, which leads the NBA, along with 7.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists. Durant is scoring at will to carry the team on a nightly basis.

James Harden has begun finding his stride, adjusting to the new rules the league put in place this offseason. He has had some vintage performances lately, getting things back on track. For the season, he is averaging 20.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game.

Brooklyn has seemingly now fully adapted to not having starting point guard Kyrie Irving in the lineup. Irving is still not with the team as he remains unvaccinated for COVID-19, therefore being ineligible to play in New York City.
