NBA Bets: Brooklyn Nets vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Nets have won nine of their last 12 games and have took advantage of an easy stretch of schedule. This includes multiple hames with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic, and one each against the New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Nets are hitting the road and taking a step up in competition but they are oddly finding themselves a bit.

Sometimes it takes a win streak for a team to click. Despite an injury to Joe Harris, the Nets are coming together a bit. Furthermore, this is still a team with Kevin Durant and they are 8-2 on the road this season. They have not been great against the spread. Brooklyn is just 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games despite going 7-3 overall.

This is a winnable game for Dallas. The Mavericks enter the night ranked in the top 10 in field-goal percentage against mid-range jumpers. Over the last 10 games, their defensive rating has slipped against strong competition. That is no excuse and the team will face another tough task here.

The Nets might hit a bump in the road at some point once injuries catch up to them but not tonight. Brooklyn is playing well and this is a game they can certainly win on the road.
