Atlanta Hawks Receive: G/F Ben Simmons
There would be three players headed to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons in part of a proposed NBA trade scenario from HoopsHabit’s Corey Rausch.
The Atlanta Hawks would deal away Cam Reddish, Danilo Gallinari, and Onyeka Okongwu to the 76ers in order to get a a deal done for Simmons.
There were rumors circulating around the NBA about potential questions surrounding Reddish’s long-term future with the Hawks. Atlanta would be capitalizing on his trade value by including him in this consolidation move to land an All-Star.
The Hawks would be committing to forming a star duo consisting of Trae Young and Simmons, who in a lot of ways are opposites as players. Simmons is highly regarded for his length and switch-ability on defense while Young is criticized for his defensive impact. Meanwhile, Young is a dynamic shot creator while Simmons doesn’t look to even shoot from deep.
