The Sacramento Kings are a team to keep an eye on when it comes to the NBA trade market in the coming weeks. Sacramento fired head coach Luke Walton over the weekend, which is the first in what could be multiple changes the team undergoes.

The Kings started the season 6-11, which led to Walton’s firing. The team is in the midst of a three-game losing streak and has lost seven out of their last eight games. Not receiving much slack after back-to-back 31-41 seasons, the recent losing skid finally did him in.

With Walton now out, the focus will shift to the team’s roster. There is some talent on the team, but the roster isn’t very well balanced. There are also numerous players on the team that could be on the move, with Marvin Bagley III being one of them.

Bagley has fallen out of favor with the franchise. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, selected ahead of Luka Doncic. The Duke product has not been able to live up to the lofty expectations that come with being selected second overall and needs a new team to play with.

The Kings informed Bagley before the regular season began that he would not be in the rotation. He has appeared in only four games, further diminishing whatever small amount of trade value that he had.

At this point, a trade would be best for both sides. The market for him has been relatively cold, but could the Chicago Bulls be a good landing spot for him? Here is a hypothetical trade that lands Bagley in The Windy City.
