1. Buddy Hield
The Sacramento Kings are in must-win mode. Ownership is getting tired of the losing, as they are on the cusp of having the longest playoff drought in NBA history. You can almost guarantee they will be making some sort of deal this season.
They looked into acquiring an All-Star in the offseason, checking in on Pascal Siakam and Ben Simmons. Nothing came to fruition on either front, but one player to keep an eye on in trade talks is Buddy Hield.
The Kings were close to trading Hield in the offseason to the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal got so far along that Hield was notified of it and the players on the Lakers thought they were heading to Sacramento.
Being that close to dealing him once, he is likely readily available to be had again. If that is the case, the Boston Celtics should do their due diligence.

Hield is a high-volume, efficient shooter. He has attempted 10.7 3-pointers per game but knocking them down at a 40.4 percent clip. That kind of volume would greatly open things up for the offense, as collapsing defenses would pay dearly for leaving Hield open on the perimeter.
Hield is signed through 2024, but his contract deescalates, as he will be owed less and less money each season going forward. That makes his contract a little easier to absorb for any potentially interested teams.
