2. Myles Turner

The Boston Celtics have very little spacing when it comes to their frontcourt. Grant Williams is the only big man on the roster that teams have to worry about on the perimeter, which enables teams to pack it in against the Celtics.

Landing a big man that can diversify their approach offensively would go a long way in opening things up. Teams are keying in on Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown because they are not afraid of being beat when sending a double team.

A player such as Myles Turner would take advantage of that. Turner is someone the Celtics have had their eye on for a while, as they tried trading for him about a year ago. A deal wasn’t made at the time, but he could still be someone they target.

Turner is in the midst of arguably the best season of his career. He is knocking down 41.6 percent of his 3-point attempts, which would be a career-high. In addition to the excellent shooting, Turner is also arguably the best rim protector in the NBA.
