Paul George – Los Angeles Clippers

Current Odds: +3000

Many hate on Paul George due to some bad play in the NBA Bubble, but the 7x All-Star has silenced all his haters this season given how well he has played for the Clippers in Kawhi Leonard’s absence.

After starting the year 1-4, the Clippers have worked their way up to a 9-6 record and they are currently one of the hottest teams in the NBA thanks to Paul George.

Through 15 games on the year, Paul George is averaging 26.7 points (4th best in the NBA), 8.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 2.1 steals (8th best in the NBA), and is shooting 44.9% from the floor, 36.2% from three-point range.

His 21.7 shot attempts per game are the second-most in the league behind only Jayson Tatum’s 22.2 shot attempts per game and he has proven to be one of the more elite scorers in the league this season.

George has scored at least 20 points in 13 games this year, tied for the third most out of any player in the league, and he has eclipsed 30 points on 5 different occasions this season, tied for the second-most 30-point games this season.

Stats are not everything in the MVP race and this directly pertains to Paul George.

Without him, the Clippers would wind up picking with one of the first few picks in the 2022 NBA Draft, especially with Kawhi Leonard being out!
