Brooklyn Nets Look Dominant in Recent Games

The Nets are currently 8-4, just 0.5 games back from the Wizards and Bulls for first place in the Eastern Conference standings, and the 11x All-Star has been leading the way for them by not missing a single game yet this season.

Averaging a league-leading 29.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and shooting 58.5% from the floor, 40.4% from three-point range, there is nothing Kevin Durant cannot do and he has been unstoppable on the offensive end of the floor.

He currently leads the league in 30-point games with 6 games scoring at least 30 points this season and has not scored less than 23 points in a game all season long.

Durant is averaging 32.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and is shooting 58.8% from the floor over his last five games, including a 30-point outing in Orlando on Wednesday night, a game in which he shot 11-12 from the floor!

Coming off a double-digit loss to the Chicago Bulls on Monday, the Nets needed a strong bounce-back win over one of the worst teams in the league and they certainly handled their business, winning 123-90 over the young Orlando Magic.

“It was a solid bounce-back game from Chicago. I thought we got a little sloppy at the end of the half where we might have found some separation there. They responded in the third and a lot of good things,” head coach Steve Nash said after the game.

“I thought we had moments on both ends of the floor where we were really good and really diligent with our game plans. I was happy with it and the guys did very well.”

Winning 6 of their last 7 games now, the Brooklyn Nets are on a roll and are asserting their dominance over the rest of the Eastern Conference.
