Coming off their run to the NBA Finals last season, the Phoenix Suns once again look like one of the better teams in the Western Conference, but they are in headlines across the nation for all the wrong reasons as an organization, not a team.
Suns’ owner Robert Sarver has been brought up in allegations of racism and misogyny within the Phoenix Suns organization over the course of his 17-year tenure as owner and ESPN’s Baxter Holmes recently released a story outlining all the key information gathered over the years.
Findings and reports suggest that Sarver has used racist remarks and language referring to both his own players and those his team has faced over the years and even former employees/players and speaking out on what has transpired in Phoenix over the years.
One former Phoenix Suns executive even stated, “There’s literally nothing you could tell me about him from a misogynistic or race standpoint that would surprise me.” This is not a good look for the Suns as an organization right now and especially for owner Robert Sarver.

An investigation is currently going on within the Phoenix Suns organization and the NBA has become involved in the matter, so the truth will come out in time. This is not a good look for Phoenix whatsoever and there is just no place in the NBA or the world for these kinds of things.
The NBA has been very stern on the fact that they have a “zero tolerance” policy for any kind of sexual harassment or racism within their league and we as a society should have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.
It is very disappointing to see things like this in the spotlight, but it happens every single day around us whether we know it or not.
