2. Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic waived the white flag on their core at the NBA trade deadline. Nikola Vucevic was traded to the Chicago Bulls. Aaron Gordon was sent to the Denver Nuggets. Evan Fournier was shipped to the Boston Celtics.
The team cleaned house as they embarked on another youth movement. With the current makeup of the roster, Orlando has great potential in the backcourt with Jalen Suggs, R.J. Hampton, Markelle Fultz, and Cole Anthony. Their frontcourt has potential core pieces in Wendell Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, and Jonathan Isaac.
The wing, however, isn’t as plush with talent. Franz Wagner was selected in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft, but that is about it on the wing. So, there could be a chance for Kevin Knox II to carve out a role with the Magic.
Knox would provide some much-needed depth at the forward spots. Right now, the only player listed as a small forward in the rotation is Wagner. Chuma Okeke is the only power forward in the rotation. There would certainly be a chance for Knox to earn some minutes mixed in there.

If there is one thing that Knox has shown he can do with some consistency in the NBA is to knock down some 3-pointers. Orlando could certainly use some floor spacers, as they have a few players in the rotation that are non-shooters.
