3. Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets have jumped headfirst into a youth movement. They still have some veterans on the roster that could be on the move, such as Eric Gordon and Danuel House Jr., but the organization is rebuilding.
They made four selections in the 2021 NBA Draft and all four players that were selected were teenagers. They are among the youngest teams in the NBA and looking to develop their talent.
It is the perfect place for a player such as Kevin Knox II to land.
Knox needs playing time to continue his development and he is not going to get that with the New York Knicks. He is still a liability on the defensive end of the court, which on a Tom Thibodeau-coached team, will make or break you when it comes to playing time.

Already 1-9 on the season, Houston should be looking to acquire as much young talent as possible to build up their core for the future. At 22-years old, Knox fits perfectly into the timeline they seem to be on.
There would be very little keeping Knox from receiving minutes in the high-teens per game with the Rockets right out of the gate. A swap of Knox for House would work financially and might be beneficial for both teams.

The New York Knicks get someone with playoff experience at the end of the bench Thibodeau may be more comfortable using should the need arise. Houston gets another young player to evaluate that could be a part of their core going forward.
