The 2021-22 NBA season is shaping up to be a rebuilding year for the Orlando Magic, especially after they traded Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, and Evan Fournier away at the trade deadline last year. While they may be rebuilding, the Magic seem to be in good hands due to Cole Anthony standing out as one of the better second-year players in the league.

Drafted 15th overall last season, Cole Anthony put together a very respectable rookie season in the league, but he only played in 47 games due to injuries.

With a full offseason to continue getting better and build relationships with those a part of the Magic’s young roster, Anthony has become the star of the show in Orlando.

Magic fans have not had a lot to be excited about over the years, as their teams have been very mediocre even though they have made the playoffs two of the last three seasons, but this young team led by Anthony looks extremely promising.

They are still going to finish near the bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference this season because they will hit a learning curve at some point, but Cole Anthony is the main reason his team has found some success early on in the year.
