The Chicago Bulls revamped their roster this NBA offseason. They were very aggressive in upgrading the team, as they want to return to the postseason and show Zach LaVine that a contender can be built in Chicago with him as the centerpiece.

LaVine will be a free agent in 2022, making this season a very important one for the Bulls. They’ve shown real improvement early in the season and it seems highly likely he will remain with the franchise long-term.

The Bulls had their foundation in place with LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. This offseason, they improved around that core, acquiring Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso. The results are showing as they are among the best in the Eastern Conference.

There was once thought that if the Bulls are losing and are on the outside looking in of the playoff race, NBA trade rumors will begin getting loud centered on LaVine. Chicago can further solidify their success by making another key roster change.
