Does this trade make sense for the LA Clippers?

Getting contracts to line up in a trade this season will be tough for the Clippers to do, which is why they are going to have to try and take what they can get. This trade with the Magic not only lines up financially, but Ross fits in perfectly with the way the Clippers play.

Being an experienced scorer on the wing, Terrence Ross could play alongside guys like Terence Mann, Nic Batum, Marcus Morris, and others on the wing and while they are more of three-point shooting threats, Ross can be like George and Jackson attacking the rim more often than not.

Only 35% of Ross’ total made baskets last season came from beyond the arc and 42.3% of his total shot attempts came from beyond the three-point line.

Having the ability to attack the paint on offense makes him a very intriguing trade target, especially for a team like the Clippers who need another playmaker on the offensive end of the floor.

In order for the Clippers to be real title contenders in the Western Conference without Kawhi Leonard, they are going to need to make some kind of a trade this season to add more scoring talent to their roster. He may not be the best option available, but he is a viable scorer and a key bench talent in this league, which is why Terrence Ross makes sense for the Clippers.
