1. Philadelphia 76ers
The point guard position for the Philadelphia 76ers is uncertain for the future. The team would like to have Ben Simmons back in the fold, but he remains away from the team improving his mental health for a return. But, frustration is mounting as Simmons isn’t taking any help from the organization.
This is an ordeal that doesn’t have a light at the end of the tunnel right now. The 76ers have to continue with the players that are here now, but the point guard position will be one people will keep their eyes on.
If the Philadelphia 76ers cannot convince Simmons to return, is the team comfortable with Tyrese Maxey being the full-time point guard? The team would like to see Maxey get more minutes with the second unit, but that leaves them without a starting point guard.
It is something that may not be able to get resolved until the Simmons situation is figured out, but Jalen Brunson would be an intriguing target for the team.

Brunson is a good defender, something the team is missing with Simmons out of the lineup. Unlike Simmons, Brunson is an aggressive offensive player that can also knock down shots from the perimeter.
Playing collegiately at Villanova, Brunson has played plenty of games at the Philadelphia 76ers home arena. Could returning close to where he played college ball be something that intrigues him? He would certainly be a fit for the 76ers if they can make it work financially.
