3. LA Clippers
The LA Clippers have been looking to revamp their backcourt for a few seasons now. In the last year, mainstays Lou Williams and Patrick Beverley were both on the move. Rajon Rondo was also traded, leaving the team with Reggie Jackson and Eric Bledsoe.
Jackson re-signed with the team this past offseason, but Bledsoe is likely to be on the move again this upcoming summer. With the need for a point guard once again looking likely, the LA Clippers should look into acquiring Jalen Brunson.
Brunson is the exact kind of point guard that the LA Clippers have been looking for. He would help take pressure off of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George offensively as playmakers. He has also proven capable of being a go-to scoring option, providing the team with some shot creation from the backcourt.
On the defensive side of the ball, Brunson would fit right in with what head coach Tyronne Lue wants to do. He is a strong defender and would allow Leonard and George to worry about defending players on the wings instead of the backcourt.

Brunson wouldn’t be the flashy, splash move, but he would certainly improve the team’s outlook in the backcourt. He is proving with the Mavericks this season he can handle a larger role, such as being in the starting lineup.
