Teams like the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, and Memphis Grizzlies are off to fast starts during the new 2021-22 NBA season, but they are currently leaving the Portland Trail Blazers behind in the dust. Damian Lillard and the Blazers have not begun the year they would have liked and as a result, change could be coming rather soon for this organization.

After changing head coaches in the offseason and dealing with all the drama surrounding Lillard’s future in Portland, GM Neil Olshey has had his hands full, but the job is not done yet.

Damian Lillard has really struggled to begin the season, as he is -9.3 in points, -9.8% in field goal percentage and -15.7% in three-point shooting percentage compared to a season ago, and through his team’s first eight games, Lillard has had two games without making a three-point shot after recording three such games all of last season!
