The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to be one of the biggest rebuilding teams in the NBA. Despite having some notable players, the Timberwolves have been unable to build a winner in a difficult Western Conference.
The addition of Ben Simmons would not make it a lock for the Timberwolves to make the postseason right away but it would certainly give them a stronger core.

D’Angelo Russell has shown some impressive flashes at times but managing to upgrade at the position by acquiring Ben Simmons would go a long way.
