Strong Showing in NBA Playoffs

Not only did Paul George make his 7th All-Star appearance of his career last season, but he was voted to the All-NBA Third Team, his 6th All-NBA selection, and he finished the regular season shooting 46.7% from the floor, a new career-high.

Once again facing the Dallas Mavericks in the first-round of the playoffs, George, Leonard and the Clippers advanced in seven games and then took down the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference Semifinals to advance to their first ever Western Conference Finals.

Paul George and the Clippers were playing some of their best basketball ever, but Kawhi Leonard went down with a knee injury in this series against the Jazz, keeping him out for the rest of the postseason.

Los Angeles went on to lose to the Phoenix Suns in the WCF without Kawhi and it was later revealed after the season had concluded that Leonard suffered a partially torn ACL.

Being the only All-Star on the Clippers’ roster to begin the 2021-22 season, Paul George has done everything in his power to help his team succeed without his All-Star teammate and George has been making everyone forget about ‘Pandemic P’.
